American professional basketball player Ron Artest




Ron Artest is an American professional basketball player. He engaged with Los Angela Lakers form 2009. He played in NBA as a defender. He has won NBA Defensive player of the year Award in 2004.  


Ron Artest was born on November 13, 1979 in Queens Bridge, New York city, New York. He is 31 years old. His full name is Ronald William "Ron" Artest, Jr.
He is 2.01 miters height and 118 kg weight. He went to La Salle Academy high school and completed his graduation from St. John’s University. Isaiah and Daniel his younger brothers. Ron Artest played school basketball at La Salle Academy high school and played college basketball 1997 to 1999 at St. John’s University.

He played in the Elton Brand as a youngster. He played in Chicago Bulls from 1999 to 2002, in Indiana Paces from 2002 to 2006, Sacramento Kings from 2006 to 2008, Houston Rockets from 2008 to 2009 and at played in Los Angeles Lakers from 2009.


He has won Haggerty Award in 1999, J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award in 2011, NBA All-Rookie Second Team Award in 2000, All-Defensive Second team Award in 2003, 2009, All-Defensive first team Award in 2004, 2006, All-NBA third team in 2004, NBA All-Star in 2004, NBA Defensive player of the year in 2004 and NBA Champion in 2010.
