Natalie Hershlag is an American actress. She is most familiar as Natalie Portman. She has dual American and Israeli citizenship. She made debut in French action film Leon in 1999. She becomes success in the Star Wars prequel trilogy in 1999. She register at Harvard University to study psychology and completed her bachelor's degree in 2003.
Natalie Hershlag was born on June 9, 1981 in Jerusalem, Israel. Her mother name is Shelley who was an American homemaker who works as Portman's agent and her father name is Avner Hershlag who was an Israeli and a fertility specialist and gynecologist. She went to Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Washington. She regulated from Syosset High School in Syosset Long Island, in 1999.
She stared to dancing at the four and she turn into a child model at the age of ten. She got Academy Award as a best actress in 2011. In 2010 got Boston Society of film Critics Award.
