Charlize Theron is a South African actress, film produce and former fashion model. She becomes popular for her characters in 2 Days in the Valley, Mighty Joe young, the Devil’s Advocate and The Cider House roles. She got Academy Award for her serial Killer, Aileen Wuornos and Monster. She got Academy Award nomination for North Country. She is the first South African who won an Academy Award in a foremost performing category.
She was born on 7 August 1975 in Benoni, gauteng, South Africa. Gerda Jacoba Aletta is her mother who was born on 27 January 1953 and Charles Jacobus Theron is her father who was born on November 27, 1947 but left the earth on June 21, 1991. Her mother was a Garman and her father was Dutch descent. She went to Putfontein Primary School at 13.
Theron lives in the Los Angeles. She got citizenship of the United States in May 2007. She began her career at the age of 16.
