American actress and singer Lea Michele Sarfati




Lea Michele is an American actress and singer. Her real name is Lea Michele Sarfati. Michele started working efficiently as a child actress on Broadway in productions such as Ragtime and Les Miserables. 


Michele was born on 29 August 1986 in Bronx, New York City. She is the daughter of Edith Sarfati who is a nurse and Marc Sarfati who is a delicatessen owner. Her mother is an Italian American, Roman Catholic and her father is a Spanish Jew. She grew up in New York City. She went to Rockland Country Day School.




Michele went with a friend to an open call for a musical at age of eight. She made debut on Broadway in 1995. She takes participated Shprintze and Chava in the Broadway revival of the musical Fiddler on the Roof. She won Broadway.com Audience Award in 2007 and won many other Awards.
